The BYD Sealion 7 was among the interesting cars unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, and BYD has now come out with an interesting promotional booking offer. It is important to note that the car maker already opened up bookings for the Sealion 7 on the day of its unveiling itself.

BYD Sealion 7 Booking Offer And Benefits
BYD has introduced an interesting new scheme through which you can book the Sealion 7, which requires you to pay Rs 70,000, and another Rs 70,000 will be pitched in by the car maker itself. Additionally, the battery will also be covered under a warranty of 7 years or 1,50,000km, whichever is earlier. To round things off, BYD will provide a 7kW home charger with free installation at your choice of location as well.
However, these offers are valid till February 17, 2025. Moreover, the first 70 customers get early deliveries starting from March 7, 2025.
The Sealion 7 is a stylish coupe-SUV which shares its design language with the Seal sedan. While it gets the 82.5kWh battery pack as the only option, buyers can choose from two different variants; Premium and Performance. The Premium variant gets a single motor powering the rear wheels, producing 308bhp and 380Nm of torque, with a claimed 0-100kmph time of 6.7 seconds. In terms of range, the Premium variant gets a claimed range of 567km on a single charge.
The Performance variant is an all-wheel drive variant, with 522bhp and 690Nm of torque, and a claimed 0-100kmph time of 4.5 seconds. This variant gets a marginally lesser claimed range of 542km on a single charge.

Some of the features on this car include a 15.6-inch infotainment touch screen, a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, power adjustable seats, a 12-speaker sound system, keyless entry/exit, panoramic glass roof, a 360-degree camera, and an ADAS suite among other things.
Verdict
The Sealion 7 is going to be an interesting competitor to the likes of the Kia EV6, Hyundai Ioniq 5, and the Volvo C40 Recharge. With the promotional offers, BYD is keen on attracting buyers into its showrooms.
