Maruti e-Vitara

Earlier unveiled at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show/Auto Expo, Maruti Suzuki eVitara is finally making its debut in April 2025. Unlike its conventionally powered siblings, the e-Vitara gets a rugged yet modern design. In terms of design, the eVitara gets sleek LED headlamps that seamlessly integrate into a gloss-black front panel. On the other hand, there are muscular rear haunches and hidden rear door handles. All these elements give a unique character to this E-SUV.

Under the hood, or rather beneath the floor, the e-Vitara will offer two battery options : a 49 kWh and 61 kWh, with respective power outputs of 144 PS and 174 PS. It will be available in both FWD and AWD options in our market. The E-SUV will provide a claimed range of over 500 km.

Kia Carens Facelift

Kia's popular MPV, the Carens, is set to receive a significant makeover. The facelifted version introduces a bolder front fascia featuring Kia's Starmap LED DRLs, sleeker headlamps and an updated grille design. At the rear, a new connected LED taillight setup will improve the MPV's premium appeal.

Inside, the Carens takes a leap forward with a panoramic sunroof, a 30-inch digital display, and a redesigned dashboard with touch-based climate controls. Also, it will have ADAS features like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and automatic emergency braking.

Powertrain options remain unchanged, with a choice of 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel engines, paired with manual or automatic gearboxes.

Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line

Volkswagen is set to introduce the Tiguan R-Line, a more aggressive and feature-loaded version of its flagship SUV. The Tiguan R-Line boasts sleek LED Plus headlights, a refreshed grille and sculpted body lines. Another addition over the standard Tiguan that has been disconinued, there are exclusive 19-inch diamond-cut alloys.

Inside, the R-Line trim offers a luxurious cabin with customizable ambient lighting (30 shades), sporty seats with 'R-Line' branding and a panoramic sunroof. Other highlights include a fully digital cockpit, wireless charging, and an advanced parking assist system.

Under the hood, the Tiguan R-Line will continue with the 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine. The powerhouse will be mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox with 4MOTION all-wheel drive.

2025 Skoda Kodiaq

Skoda's flagship SUV, the upcoming 2025 iteration of the Kodiaq will be the second generation with a host of upgrades. The new design retains its signature bold grille but features sleeker LED headlights and a more aggressive bumper design. The side profile gets subtle changes with new 20-inch alloy wheels, while the rear now sports connected LED tail lamps.

Inside the new Kodiaq, you get a completely redesigned dashboard, sustainable materials, and a larger 13-inch touchscreen infotainment unit. Skoda has also introduced a gear selector behind the steering wheel that frees up more space in the center console. In terms of safety, the Kodiaq is loaded with ADAS features like adaptive cruise control, lane assist and automated emergency braking.

Powertrain options are yet to be confirmed for India, but globally, the Kodiaq is available with mild-hybrid, plug-in hybrid, petrol and diesel engines. The India-spec version is likely to get the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine.

2025 BMW 2 Series

BMW is all set to launch the new-generation 2 Series sedan in India this April. The latest iteration features a more refined look with a slightly larger kidney grille, updated LED taillights and new alloy wheel designs.

The biggest updates are inside, where the 2 Series gets a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, multi-colour ambient lighting and powered front seats. BMW is expected to retain the current 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and diesel engine options, both of which offer a balance of performance and efficiency.
