Well as much as Delhi is famous, so is the insurmountable number of Delhi traffic challans issued. If you jump a signal, or an interceptor waiting for you to push the pedal, there are high chances that you may have a pending challan for your vehicle. This is your time as the Delhi Police is organizing a Lok Adalat for settlements on 16th July 2023.

Delhi Traffic Challan- National Lok Adalat On Various Locations Across Delhi
The Delhi State Legal Services Authority in coordination with the Delhi Traffic Police is organising a Lok Adalat for the pending challans. Interestingly, not only private vehicles but also commercial vehicles are also eligible. This is done for easy resolution on both the On-Spot challans and Notices of all types of vehicles. Meanwhile, the challans issued only up to 31st October 2022 are eligible for the settlements.
Now, coming to locations, it is happening at various locations in Delhi. You can head over to the court complexes of Tis Hazari, Karkardooma, Patiala House, Saket, Rohini, Rouse Avenue, and Dwarka courts.

A Regular Practise
Also, just recently, Karnataka Govt decided to give a 50% rebate on traffic challans pending up to February 2023. This is the third time the Karnataka Govt. came up with such a scheme. Since you know that this is a regular practice, other states also offer these resolutions from time to time to provide relief to the violators as well as for the quick resolution of challans. If you have one in your name, we suggest you comply as directed by the authorities as responsible citizens, but also check for the current schemes.
