The Ducati Panigale V2 Bayliss Edition, a special edition motorbike, was recently launched in the Indian market at a price of Rs 21.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike is named after Troy Bayliss, who won his maiden race championship on a Ducati 996 R. The PanigaleV2 special edition will be built in a limited number of units.
The Ducati Panigale V2 Bayliss 1st Championship 20th Anniversary is dressed in a paint scheme inspired by Troy Bayliss's 2001 WSBK championship-winning 996R. On the front and sides of the motorbike, Troy Bayliss' race number 21 can be seen, and his autograph can be found on the fuel tank and the seat. The frame of the Ducati Panigale V2 Bayliss Edition is made of aluminium. Carbon fibre accents, underbelly exhaust, and a higher windscreen for reduced drag are among the other upgrades.

A 995cc L-Twin engine develops 155 horsepower and 104 Nm of torque and is at the core of the motorbike. The engine is connected to a 6-speed bi-directional quick shifter. The distinctive Ohlins components on the bike include the 43 mm NX30 fork, steering damper, and TTX36 rear shock absorber, which embody the track spirit of the Panigale V2 Bayliss 1st Championship 20th Anniversary bike. These components help the bike perform better on the track while also giving it a more athletic aesthetic.
Braking duties are done by Brembo braking system that includes 320mm semi-floating dual discs at the front with radially mounted Monobloc M4.32 four-piston callipers, and a 245mm disc with a dual-piston calliper at the back. For a superb riding experience, cornering ABS, three riding modes (Race, Sport, and Street), Ducati traction control, engine brake control, Ducati wheelie control, power modes, and auto tyre calibration are all incorporated. Additional features include LED headlights, LED tail lamps, and a 4.3-inch TFT display.
