With the launch of 2020 fifth-gen City, Honda also stated that they will continue with the sales of fourth-gen City. However, at that time the variants and prices were not out but one thing was sure that the fourth-gen Honda City will only be sold in petrol engine.
Just recently, Honda has revised the variant list of the fourth-gen City and now it comes in two trims - SV and V. The prices for the same sticks with Rs 9.29 lakh and Rs 9.99 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi respectively. The car competes with Maruti Ciaz, Skoda Rapid, Volkswagen Vento, Hyundai Verna and Toyota Yaris.
This mid-size sedan gets a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine under the hood. This i-VTEC motor makes an impressive figure of 118 bhp with 145 Nm of peak torque. Earlier Honda used to provide an optional CVT gearbox but this one gets a 5-speed manual unit only.

Feature-wise, the revised City continues with a touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also gets automatic climate control, push-button start and among others. Earlier, an electrically adjustable sunroof was also given with the VX and ZX variants but like these trims which got discontinued, the features too are a miss now.
Safety features on this Honda City continue with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, high-speed alert system, front seat belt reminder, reverse camera and among others. If you are someone who is looking for more features and safety then you should really give the 2020 City a chance.
