Honda City has been in the Indian shores for as long as 20 years, that's nearly two decades. It used to come with a single option of a 1.5-litre reliable i-VTEC petrol engine until 2014. Post that Honda Cars India decided to introduce the turbo diesel with the fourth-gen City. In this article, we bring you five examples of the used Honda City diesel across India which are kept in a pristine condition!
Before we go any further, the 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel first came in with the Honda Amaze. This same engine then came with the City and produces 99 bhp with a peak torque of 200 Nm of peak torque. Currently, Honda sells fourth-gen City in petrol engine only as the oil burner is discontinued. The diesel will return with the fifth-gen City in an improved form and will be BS6 compliant!
Cheapest Used Honda City Diesel
We say this because it is one of the most affordable diesel Honda City from the lot. This one is from Chandigarh and has clocked nearly 57,000 kilometres. Like petrol, the diesel is a reliable unit and this used Honda City is available at just Rs 5.15 lakh. At this price, you do not get even a decent hatchback.
This one is a 2014 model and this particular S trim hosts several features. It gets a touchscreen unit and a reverse camera. The interiors are done in beige and black dual-tone colour scheme and the exterior shade is painted in pearl white.

Sunroof Equipped Used Honda City Diesel
An electric sunroof is not widely used in India because of the hot weather but still, it adds a bling to the car. This used Honda City diesel is a VX trim and is based in Delhi. This is a 2014 model and has done 64,000 kilometres on the odometer. The asking price for this one is Rs 5.85 lakh.
This one is finished in a silver colour and is completely stock. The only change is the inclusion of an aftermarket fancy number plate and the 5-d mats on the inside. It gets features like automatic climate control, sunroof, dual airbags, reverse parking sensors and more.
Low mileage Used Honda City Diesel
This one is from Gujarat and has done only 52K kilometres on the odometer. It is a mid-spec V trim which comes with a touchscreen infotainment system, reverse parking camera with sensors, front dual airbags, alloy wheels and multi-function steering wheel.
This is a 2014 model and gets a sticker price of just Rs 5.69 lakh. It is finished in the tan brown shade and receives dual-tone black and beige upholstery. It gets a 6-speed manual gearbox and is a first owner vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
Used Honda City Diesel Base Model
This used diesel Honda City is from Mumbai and clocks nearly 68,000 kilometres. It is the base E variant which is now discontinued from the lineup and the SV takes its place. The owner has painted the exterior door handles to silver shade. The stock model comes with black door handles. The asking price for this 2014 model is Rs 5.75 lakh but you can always negotiate.

Pearl White Honda City
This one is from Rajkot, Gujarat and gets 60K kilometres on the odometer. This used Honda City gets an asking price of Rs 5.50 lakh for the S trim. It gets an integrated music system with Bluetooth connectivity, manual AC controls and the interiors gets aftermarket seat covers. It also gets a new battery and continental tyres.
