All of the recalled vehicles have manual transmissions, and the manufacturer will investigate a problem with a rubber bellow located in the clutch bell housing.

Mahindra Scorpio N & XUV700 Issue
Mahindra claims that the vendor plant was where the problem originated. The company claimed that this problem was caused by a sorting error that occurred during the specified periods at a supplier's plant. It's possible that this had an impact on the rubber bellow's working dimensional clearance inside the bell housing. Mahindra has recalled 12,566 units of the XUV700 manual transmission variants and 6,618 units of the Scorpio N to address this problem. The brand will repair the damaged vehicles' parts for free after inspecting the rubber below. The XUV700 was recalled earlier in September to address the turbocharger problem.
The dealership will get in touch with each customer separately. The company is aggressively engaging in this activity in an effort to provide a hassle-free experience for its clients. Additionally, clients can contact the nearby dealer to get their vehicle inspected.

Mahindra Scorpio N & XUV 700 Waiting Period
Since its June launch, the brand's Scorpio N SUV has had rapid sales growth. The SUV boasts a two-year waiting period depending on the variant. The XUV700, on the other hand, has a waiting period of up to a year. The 2.0-liter petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engine options for the Scorpio N and XUV 700 are both available, although their power and torque outputs differ.
Verdict: Although the recall will make it easier for customers to restore their cars, other buyers may be turned off by these problems.
