The festive season is at the onset and so the automobile manufacturers are going all guns blazing to boost their sales. This month, the car and the bike manufacturers are launching new products and also are updating the older ones to lure the buyers. India's largest two-wheeler manufacturer - Hero MotoCorp has just launched a new special edition of Glamour 125. The price of the new Hero Glamour Blaze Edition is Rs. 72,200, Ex-showroom Delhi.
The new Blaze Edition of the Hero Glamour 125 gets a new dual-tone colour scheme and some additional features. It gets a funky dual-tone paint job and is finished in a new Matt Vernier Grey colour coupled with Funk-Lime Yellow graphics. Also, what's interesting is that while the Glamour Blaze Edition gets more features than the top-spec Glamour, it is cheaper than the top-spec model of the Glamour 125. The price of the Hero Glamour Blaze Edition is Rs. 72,200 and it gets disc brake at the front and a drum unit at the rear. Whereas, the Front Drum Brake variant of the motorcycle is priced at Rs. 71,000 and the regular Front Disc Brake model retails at Rs. 74,500. Thus, the new Blaze Edition is around 2,300 rupees cheaper than the top-spec Glamour 125. For suspension duties, it gets telescopic forks at the front and spring-loaded dual hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear.
The new 2020 Hero Glamour 125 is powered by a BS6-compliant 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor churns out 10.73 PS of power at 7500 RPM and 10.6 Nm of peak torque at 6000 RPM. It comes mated to a new 5-speed manual gearbox.
