Hero Motocorp has launched a new Combat Edition of Xoom 110 scooter at Rs 80,967 (ex-showroom). The newly launched Combat edition is based on the top-spec ZX variant of the Xoom and it boasts fighter jet-inspired colour and graphics. Hero Xoom Combat Edition
The new Xoom Combat Edition comes with a Matte Shadow grey paint with black treatment on different parts. The scooter also gets new graphics to complement the new colour option. The brand has not made any changes to the mechanical and feature options of the scooter.
Based on the top-spec ZX variant the Combat Edition features alloy wheels, a front disc brake, a digital instrument console, cornering lights, LED DRLs, projector LED headlamp and tailamp, and Bluetooth connectivity among others.
The scooter continues to get telescopic front forks and a hydraulic shock absorber at the rear. The VX, ZX, and Combat editions ride on a 90/90-12 front wheel and a 100/80-12 rear wheel, while the LX variant gets a 90/90-12 rear wheel.
If we talk about engine specifications, the scooter comes with a 110.9cc, air-cooled engine producing 8.05 bhp of power and 8.70 Nm of peak torque. It also boasts Hero's i3S idle start-stop technology for better fuel efficiency.

Verdict
The newly launched Hero Xoom Combat Edition is just a colour addition in the lineup. Based on the top-spec variant this edition is Rs 1,000 costlier than the ZX variant. The launch seems like a step to boost the sales of the Hero Xoom 110 scooter. The Hero Xoom competes with the Honda Dio.
