Hero Motocorp has introduced two new iterations of its Xoom scooter. Specifically, the brand has revealed the Hero Xoom 125R sport scooter and the Xoom 160 maxi-scooter during the EICMA show. Additionally, they have unveiled a stunt motorcycle, the Hero 2.5R XTUNT concept, based on the Karizma. As of now, the brand has not disclosed the launch schedule for these products.

Hero Xoom 125R
The recently unveiled Xoom 125R showcases a sporty design featuring large wheels, LED projector headlamps integrated into the apron, and LED sequential turn indicators mounted on the handlebars. The scooter's front profile exudes a sharp and angular aesthetic, enhancing its sporty appeal. Its sides feature contoured panels with a raised rear section and a fresh LED tail lamp design. Riding on 14-inch wheels with machine-cut alloy rims, the scooter maintains a stylish look. On the features front it will get digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and turn by turn navigation
The scooter will be powered by a 124.6cc, air-cooled engine. The engine will produce 9.4 bhp of power and 10.16 Nm of peak torque.
Hero Xoom 160
Conversely, the Xoom 160 embodies a full-fledged sporty maxi-scooter, characterized by its sharp and angular front profile. It highlights a dual-chamber LED headlamp design, a tall front windscreen, and turn indicators reminiscent of a motorcycle. The rear end showcases a split LED tail lamp for added flair. Rolling on 14-inch wheels with machine-cut alloy rims, this scooter will also offer keyless functionality for ignition, seat opening, and various other functions. Powering it is a 156cc liquid-cooled engine equipped with i3S silent start technology. The engine produces 14 bhp of power and 13.7 Nm of peak torque.

At the same event, the brand introduced the Vida V1 Pro electric scooter, designed specifically for the UK and Europe markets. The international version of the Vida V1 Pro will feature some minor modifications compared to its Indian counterpart, primarily in the front design. Additionally, an alternate coupe variant will be available, removing the rear seat from the scooter for a distinct configuration.
Verdict
The recently revealed Hero Xoom scooters exhibit an appealing design, and it's reasonable to expect they will come equipped with a substantial array of features. While the specific timeline for their launch in India has not been disclosed, it's worth noting that these scooters are also set to be introduced in international markets.
