The upcoming Honda City Hybrid or also known as City e:HEV will finally launch on May 4. This sedan will be based on the top of the line ZX variant and will be loaded with all the bells and whistles. We expect the price to be upwards of Rs 18 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
Honda City Hybrid gets powered by a 1.5L, four-cylinder, Atkinson cycle motor with a power control unit and an advanced Lithium-ion battery pack. This battery pack gets two motors - one for traction and the other for generation of energy.
The userable power of City Hybrid sticks to 109 bhp on tap with a maximum torque of 253 Nm. The carmaker claims that the fuel economy This motor generates as much as 109 bhp of Honda claims that the fuel economy of the car is 26.5 kmpl.

Design-wise, it now gets a blue Honda logo at front and rear, bootlid spoiler, carbon finish diffuser and e:HEV badging at the rear along with an aggressive fog light trims. Also, the boot space here is 306 litres because of the batteries.
Feature-wise, this City hybrid gets all LED headlights, 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Alexa connect, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, smartwatch connectivity and more. The cabin receives a two-tone ivory and black theme.
