Honda GL1800 GoldWing And CBR1000RR: What Led To This Recall?
Honda has revealed that the fuel pump impellers in the models might not have been moulded correctly. This issue could lead to their deformation and ultimately cause fuel pump failure. If the fuel pump module malfunctions, there's a risk that the engine might not start or could unexpectedly stall while riding, without any prior warning signs.
It's essential to note that affected units include GL1800 Gold Wing units manufactured between December 2017 and December 2023, and CBR1000RR units produced between September 2017 and April 2020.
