Isuzu has finally replaced the age-old 7.0-inch touchscreen with a bigger and better 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the D-Max V-Cross and their flagship SUV, mu-X. This touchscreen now finally features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, although, it is still wired though.
We believe that this move is taken with the recent launch of the Toyota Hilux which is better equipped and gets more features than the age-old V-Cross. This inclusion of a larger touchscreen in both vehicles comes at no extra price.
Both D-Max V-Cross and mu-X feature a 1.9-litre, four-cylinder, BS6 compliant turbocharged diesel engine under the hood. This motor produces as much as 163 hp of power on tap with a peak torque of 360 Nm. While the pick-up truck gets the 6-speed manual as standard, the mu-X is paired with a 6-speed torque converter only. Isuzu D-Max V-Cross gets 6-speed AT as an option.

Safety features on both vehicles include six airbags (standard in mu-X), an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, electronic stability control, traction control, hill descent control, brake override system, reverse parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat mounts and others.
