Kawasaki has announced a huge discount on the Versys 650 motorcycle. The motorbike now comes with a special discount voucher worth Rs 70,000, which can be applied to the ex-showroom price. For reference, the Versys 650 is priced at Rs 7.15 lakh. This voucher reduces the cost to Rs 6.45 lakh (ex-showroom). This offer is only available for a limited time, and the timeframe to reap the benefits of it is April 30, 2022.

Mechanically, the Versys 650 comes with a 650cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine which churns out 64.8 bhp of power and 60.7 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox. On the hardware front, dual semi-floating 300 mm petal discs at the front and a single 250 mm petal disc at the back are standard on the Versys 650. On both ends, it has 17-inch alloy wheels, inverted front forks, and a rear monoshock.
The Japanese motorcycle brand is planning to launch the 2022 model of the Versys 650 which debuted at the EICMA motorcycle show in November of last year. The current model will be phased out in favour of the 2022 model. The redesigned model will have a new headlamp design with LED illumination instead of the halogen lighting found in the current generation. A Bluetooth-enabled TFT colour display will be included in the latest Versys 650 model.
