Kia Carens Luxury (O) Variant
The new Carens Luxury (O) variant has multi-drive modes (Normal/Eco/Sport) connected with ambient lighting, which are not included in the Luxury variant. A sky light sunroof, formerly available only on the Luxury Plus model, is also included in the new variant. Other exterior features , such as a shark fin antenna, 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, LED headlamps, fog lamps and LED taillamps, are carried over from the Luxury trim.
The variant's interior features include leatherette seats, an air purifier, a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel, steering-mounted audio controls, push-button start/stop, and other premium features. Up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, VSC, TPMS, ESC, all-wheel disc brakes, front and rear parking sensors, a rear parking camera, and other equipment make up the vehicle's safety net.

Kia Carens Luxury (O) Engine Options
A 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine with 160 Hp is offered as an option for the new version. A 7-speed DCT transmission is available for this engine. The Luxury (O) model also offers a 1.5-liter diesel engine as an alternative engine option. A 6-speed AT gearbox is connected to this engine.
Verdict: It's interesting to note that the new Luxury (O) variant will reduce the price difference between the Luxury and Luxury Plus variants, giving it a more affordable option for individuals who desire some of the features provided in the Luxury Plus variant at a lower price point. That appears to be a wise decision on the part of Kia to increase the range of Carens models available to Indian consumers.
