The Kia Carens is currently being offered with two petrol engines and a diesel engine. The petrol portfolio includes the 1.5-L NA Petrol and the 1.4-L turbocharged petrol engine that churn out 114 bhp and 138 bhp respectively while the 1.5-L diesel on the other hand boasts a peak power and torque output of 114 bhp and 250 Nm respectively. While a six-speed manual comes as standard with all these engines, the 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox is only offered with the turbocharged petrol engine. The buyers of the diesel Carens can also opt for an optional 6-Speed AT gearbox.
