To be specific, the base price remains the same - Rs 41 lakh (ex-showroom), while the other two have seen a price hike of Rs 15,000. Seal SUV is a fantastic electric sedan, and we say so because when we reviewd it back in 2024, it swept us away with its technology on offer, perforamnce and its sleek design. Also, its luxurious and created by the largest EV manufacturer in the world, BYD. So, the engineering done in this car is far superior than in any EV you can get under Rs 50 lakh. This is a good news as the price has gone up only by Rs 15,000, but only for the mid and top trim, base remains the same, which also happens to the best the most value for money variant. Moreover, the Seal is offered in two battery packs - 61.44 kWh and 82.56 kWh. The first one is offered with the Dynamic variant - and here it makes 203 Ps and 310 Nm of torque and the send the power only to rear wheels. On the other hand, the second one makes 312 PS and 360 Nm of torque, and this is available in two drivetypes - RWD (in Premium) and AWD (Performance).

The BYD Seal features a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) low voltage battery (LVB) offering significant benefits, including a six-times lighter weight compared to conventional low-voltage batteries, five-times better self-discharge consumption, and an impressive 15-year lifespan. Inside the cabin, BYD SEAL now comes standard with a power sunshade for added comfort and convenience. A new silver-plated dimming canopy enhances the cabin's ambience, creating a more refined and premium feel. The air-conditioning system has also been upgraded with a larger compressor capacity and an all-new module for air purification.
