Kia Motors second product in India will be Carnival MPV and bookings for the same have begun. According to our dealership sources, the bookings for the Kia Carnival is accepted unofficially at a minimum price of Rs 50000. Also, what's new is that the deliveries of the luxurious MPV will start from late February just after the car is launched at the 2020 Auto Expo.
Kia Carnival is a luxurious MPV that will sit above the popular Toyota Innova Crysta. It will be a silly decision to compare these two as the Carnival will be a premium option for those looking for a palace on wheels. No, we are not exaggerating when we talk about its features.
The features on Kia Carnival include captain seats in the middle row, entertainment package for rear passengers, large touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The MPV will also get UVO connect which is seen on the already launched Seltos.

The MPV will also offer extendable leg rests, power-adjustable seats, dual sunroof, three-zone climate control, power sliding rear doors and among others. The list of safety features on the upcoming Kia Carnival is also at large as it will get multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, Blind spot detection and among others.
Under the hood, Kia Carnival will get a 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine that produces 202 bhp and a maximum torque of 440 Nm. It will be mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox and will get a BS6 engine. There won't be any petrol engine on the offer.

Kia Carnival will be brought in India through CKD (Completely Knocked Down) Route and will be assembled at the Andhra Pradesh facility. It is expected to carry a price tag of Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). With the powerful engine and exclusive features, we hope it will attract a lot of buyers who are looking to spend their money on Mercedes V-Class and the upcoming Toyota Vellfire.
