LML returns to the two-wheeler industry with the LML Star electric scooter, but this time as an EV manufacturer. LML Emotion unveiled its Star electric scooter at the 2023 Auto Expo. The scooter has a variety of intriguing features, including an interactive screen in the front apron that can be customised based on the customer's mood. The pricing of the scooter has not yet been announced by LML, but we expect it to be announced in the coming months.

LML Star Electric Scooter Powertrain & Hardware
The new LML Star comes with a 4kWh removable lithium-ion battery pack. The PMSM motor in the scooter generates a peak power of 5 kW and 38 Nm of peak torque. The max speed of the scooter is 85 km/h and the 0-40 km/h acceleration in 4.5 seconds. The brand has not yet revealed the range of the scooter, but it is claimed to be the highest in the segment. The lithium-ion battery pack boasts IP67 water and dust resistance.
The electric scooter's hardware includes 12-inch tubeless alloy wheels, telescopic front forks, and mono-shock suspension in the back. Front and rear disc brakes work in tandem with the combined braking system to provide braking power.
LML Star Electric Scooter Features
Ambient lighting, integrated DRLs, an LED headlamp, a touchscreen instrument panel with Bluetooth connectivity, an Android operating system, OTA updates, a side stand sensor, TPMS, app-based smart features, lead me home lights, and other features are included in the LML Star electric scooter.

Verdict: LML Star will be a rival in India for high-speed premium electric scooters. The LML Star is estimated to be priced between Rs 1.20 and Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom). Given its features and characteristics, the scooter will compete with the Ola S1 Pro, TVS iQube, Hero Vida V1, and other luxury electric scooters.
