Verdict: The addition of these optional safety features in the entry-level Z2 and Z4 trims is a smart move by Mahindra. This comes shortly after the Scorpio N scored 5 stars in the GNCAP crash test results. These safety features are added to comply with the requirements of GNCAP to maintain the 5-star safety rating. Whatever may be the case, the latest update to the 'Big Daddy of SUVs' will enhance the safety of the vehicle, more so for the buyers of Z2 and Z4 trims. However, a premium of Rs. 50,000 for these safety features is a bit steep.
