Mahindra XUV300 Interior Updates: A Tech Boost
The spy shots of the XUV300 facelift reveal a notable enhancement to its interior a larger touchscreen infotainment system. While the base models are expected to retain the current 7.0-inch screen, higher trims will receive an entirely new 10-inch touchscreen, also set to feature in the upcoming Thar 5-door SUV. Redesigned Exterior
On the outside, the XUV300 facelift exhibits design elements inspired by the Mahindra BE concept. The front fascia showcases a clear division into four sections, with vertically placed headlamp clusters in line with the latest design trends. LED DRLs, either above or vertically integrated with the headlamps, are anticipated, while a prominent Mahindra logo adorns the central black panel. Meanwhile, the bumper features distinctive air inlets and character lines, combining matte black and body-colored elements. The rear boasts a complete overhaul, potentially featuring a full-width LED light bar.
Powertrain
Mechanically, the XUV300 facelift is unlikely to introduce further changes. It will continue with the existing powertrain options, including the 1.2-liter turbo-petrol units with 110hp and 131hp, and the 1.5-liter diesel engine with 117hp. These powertrains align with BS6 Stage II emissions norms.
Launch on the Horizon
The XUV300 facelift is anticipated to hit the market in the coming year. Positioned to compete with formidable rivals such as the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, and the upcoming Kia Sonet facelift, Mahindra's updated offering promises to be a strong contender in the compact SUV segment.
Verdict
The Mahindra XUV300 facelift promises a significant enhancement, both inside and out, with a revamped dashboard and bold exterior styling inspired by the BE concept. While retaining its existing powertrains, it offers an attractive blend of style, technology, and performance. With its expected launch in the near future, the XUV300 facelift is set to compete fiercely in the compact SUV segment.
