At the front, the most notable transformation will manifest in the redesigned appearance featuring LED headlamps and DRLs reminiscent of the XUV700. Other distinctive elements include a modified bumper with an updated grille, broader air dams, and a more upright bonnet compared to the previous model.
Moving to the interior, the upcoming facelift is set to infuse a modern ambiance into the XUV300's cabin. Expectations include a new floating touchscreen infotainment system, a revamped center console, updated air conditioning vents, a digital instrument cluster, refreshed upholstery, and additional features.
At the rear, as evident in the images, the test mule showcases an entirely redesigned LED taillight cluster connected by a light bar. Notable elements such as the rear wiper, roof rails, extended roof spoiler, and a conventional antenna are also visible.

The upcoming Mahindra XUV300 facelift is expected to maintain the current generation's powertrain options. This includes a 1.2L turbo petrol engine available in two states of tune, offering 110 hp and 200 Nm of torque, and a more powerful version with 130 hp and 250 Nm of torque. Additionally, there's a 1.5L diesel engine with 117 hp and 300 Nm of torque. Transmission choices are expected to include 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT options, and there are rumors of a 6-speed Aisin-sourced torque converter as well.
Meanwhile, with no new launches set for 2023, the XUV300 facelift is set to hit showrooms in early 2024. It will continue to rival the likes of Maruti Brezza, Nexon, and the Kia Sonet.
