The Mahindra XUV700 has gone on sale in both petrol and diesel engine variants, with both the motors being available with an automatic option.
The popularity of the Mahindra XUV700 has been beyond phenomenal. After witnessing record bookings for 70,000 units in just one month, Mahindra & Mahindra are now struggling with deliveries. Such has been the overwhelming response of this SUV that, if you book a XUV7 700 now, the delivery date will be in July 2023.

The long waiting period was obvious, and a 12 month waiting period was expected. But the recent delivery date overflowing into 2023, is something that was expected. This information was shared by an owner over Facebook. The post was made by a certain Mr Shashanl A Jain who had shared the screenshot on the XUV700 India Page. He has booked the AX7 L diesel manual variant of the XUV700 in November, and the delivery date has been scheduled for July 2023. Via, the post, the owner expressed his disbelief about the matter and exclaimed that he would have to cancel it. Unfortunately, this is the condition of most future XUV700 owners, where some are forced to cancel it because of its long waiting period.
However, Mahindra & Mahindra has hired a consultancy firm to optimize and smoothen the deliveries to customers. But if the current pattern continues, then the XUV700 will become a victim of its own popularity.
