The new iteration of the Mahindra XUV700 carries significant changes. The SUV comes with a sporty towing hook placed right at the front bumper with a red hook. The front bumper is equipped with LED fog lamps with an aluminium skid plate.
The rendered pickup with its black tinted windows looks very bold. The artist has even installed massive wheel arches with body claddings to enhance the side profile of the car. The off-road spec tyres are a hint at this model's off-roading capabilities while the pickup truck looks uber cool in the jet black paint scheme.
The regular Mahindra XUV700 will be made available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The former is a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 200PS of maximum power and 380 Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, the diesel engine will be available in multiple tunes. For the lower versions, it will produce 155 PS of maximum power and 360 Nm of peak torque whereas the higher ones will benefit from 185 PS of maximum power and 420 Nm of peak torque. In fact, for the automatic variants, the peak torque on offer will be pegged at 450 Nm.
Both the engine options will be available with six-speed manual and automatic transmission options. Prices will start at Rs 11.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). The XUV700 becomes the first recipient of Mahindra's new logo. The new model will come with a host of premium features including many driving aids, panoramic sunroof, LED lights, flush-fitting smart door handles, diamond-cut alloy wheels, and more. The SUV will even have an intelligent cockpit in the form of an integrated dual HD superscreen supported by Adrenox.
