Mahindra is all set to unveil the XUV700 on August 14th and fresh details of the interior are now out. Apart from the latest technologies and features, the interior of the Mahindra XUV700 looks promising and can take on the likes of Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus.
The cabin gets a dual-tone black and a light beige colour scheme that resembles the off-white colour. The single-screen layout gets two splits - one for the instrument cluster and the other for the infotainment system. The XUV700 packs in a digital instrument cluster for the higher variants that gels well with the overall aesthetics.
Other details like leatherette treatment on the seats, dashboard and door pads seem evident. To give close competition to rivals, we believe that the higher variants of XUV700 will get front ventilated seats as an added feature. The dashboard is neatly laid out with AC vents on the bottom of the screen and the HVAC functions can be controlled via the rotary knobs just below them.

Mahindra XUV700 cabin features a silver finish on the steering wheel, AC vents, inside door handle and on other parts of the interior. Even the engine start/stop button gets the same treatment.
Other features of the interior include wireless charging, panoramic sunroof, auto-booster headlamps, an air purifier, dual-zone climate control, an audio system by Sony and the new logo that was showcased a few days back.
The Mahindra XUV700 will be sold with two engine options - a 2.0L mStallion petrol and a 2.2L mHawk diesel unit. The petrol motor is expected to churn as much as 199 bhp with a peak torque that reaches north of 400 Nm. The diesel engine is the same as before and is now expected to generate 183 bhp on tap. Both the engines will be mated to a 6-speed manual as standard and an optional 6-speed AT. The bookings for the XUV700 will commence on August 14th only.
