Mahindra XUV700 Gets 2 New Colour Options: Deep Forest & Burnt Sienna
Mahindra has expanded the color options for its flagship SUV, the Mahindra XUV700, with the introduction of two new exterior paint schemes. These include Deep Forest and Burnt Sienna. While Deep Forest is available across multiple models like the Scorpio N, Burnt Sienna is exclusive to the XUV700, adding to its distinctiveness within the lineup. This comes clashing with the XUV700 celebrating its 2,00,000 units production milestone, 3 years after its launch.The Mahindra XUV700 now offers a total of nine exterior color options, including Midnight Black, Everest White, Dazzling Silver, Red Rage, Electric Blue, Napoli Black, Matte Blaze Red, Deep Forest (new), and Burnt Sienna (new).
The XUV700 comes fully equipped with its comprehensive array of modern features. Upholding the legacy of its flagship SUV status, it includes amenities such as captain seats in the second row, ventilated front row seats, and more. Key features of this edition encompass a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, digital instrument cluster, dual-zone AC, ADAS level-2, 6 airbags, 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof, and many other advanced functionalities.

Powertrain Options
The XUV700 offers a range of potent engine choices. The turbo-petrol option is a 2.0-liter engine that delivers 200 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque. For diesel enthusiasts, Mahindra provides a 2.2-liter engine available in two configurations: a base model with 155 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque, and a more powerful version producing 185 horsepower and 420 Nm (450 Nm with automatic transmission) for higher trims. Both engine variants can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.
Verdict
The introduction of new colourways will offer a renewed appeal to this already hot-selling SUV. The craze which saw waiting periods soar past an year when launched, has now been eased out to a point where you can get it within a month. However, it still continues to enjoy a high but stable demand.
