After Mahindra hiked the price of Scorpio N by a massive Rs. 81,000 quanta, the Mahindra XUV700 is the next in line. Mahindra has recently implemented price increases for its flagship SUV, the XUV700, with some variants experiencing a hike of up to Rs. 38,880. The XUV700 is offered in five distinct variants: MX, AX3, AX5, AX7, and AX7L, catering to both five- and seven-seater configurations.

The 5-seater petrol variant of the flagship Mahindra SUV registers a standard price hike of Rs. 2,000. After this, the ex-showroom price now starts at Rs. 14.03 lakhs and goes all the way up to Rs. 19.65 lakhs.

The price hike for the 7-seater petrol variants tells a different story and is not evenly spread out. The lowest and the highest increase in price comes out to be Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 36,899 taking the price range between Rs. 18.51 lakhs to Rs. 24.72 lakhs ex-showroom.

Like before, the 5-seater diesel variant of the flagship Mahindra SUV registers a standard price hike of Rs. 2,000. After this, the ex-showroom price now starts at Rs. 14.47 lakhs and goes all the way up to Rs. 20.30 lakhs.

With a pattern now visible, the 7-seater diesel variants again show a disconnected pattern where the hike goes from around Rs. 2,000 for the lower trims to Rs. 38,800 for the top-end AX7 L, which also happens to be the most affected in this round of hikes.
Mahindra XUV700 Details
The XUV700 petrol generates power from a 2.0-liter M-STALLION turbo-petrol engine. It generates 197bhp and 380Nm of torque and comes mated to six-speed manual and automatic gearboxes.
The diesel version of the XUV700 is powered by a 2.2-liter mHawk engine. It delivers an output of 153bhp and 360Nm of torque in the lower variants, while the higher variants will develop 182bhp and 420Nm of torque (450Nm for AT). Transmission options include six-speed manual and automatic units
