MG Motors has revealed the prices and variant details of the Comet EV in India. The compact electric car will be sold in 3 variants i.e. PACE, PLAY, & PLUSH. The range starts at Rs 7.98 lakh ex-showroom & tops out at Rs 9.98 lakh ex-showroom. Although the technical specs, the battery & electric motor specs remain the same in all three variants, there are some differences in their feature list. Verdict: At Rs 7.98 lakh ex-showroom, the pace variant of the MG Comet EV is the most affordable electric car currently available in India. However, the plush top variant of the Comet EV with its ex-showroom price of 9.98 lakh, reaches the territory of the Tata Tiago Long Range variants.
