New Harley Davidson Sportster is all set to make its debut on 12th April globally. The new bike will be placed below the Sportster S model internationally.
The world premiere of the upcoming new Harley Davidson Sportster motorcycle is all set for the 12th of April globally. The new motorcycle will mark the refreshment in the Sportster category for Harley Davidson. The news has been hinted at by the official social media channels of Harley Davidson.
Harley aims to place the new model under their flagship Sportster S variant which is already on sale internationally. Unlike the Sportster S, this upcoming motorcycle will use less of the high-tech parts such as the pill-shaped LED headlights as seen on the flagship model, USD front fork suspension will also be missing. As the trailer has been released over the social media platforms of the USA-based company; the design of this upcoming bike has been revealed subtly.

At the front, Harley has used their typical round headlight with round LED DRLs and LED bulbs as well. There's also this shorty-front cowl which looks cool over the headlamp and provides a more aesthetic appeal to the Sportster design language. This bikini-fairing goes down with the overall design of the bike quite nicely. Also, the company has ditched the USD forks as seen over their flagship model and the conventional telescopic front suspension is used. We also spotted the twin-gas-charged rear springs in the teaser video. The rear-fender design also seems to be longer. The riding ergonomics also seem to be changed and we anticipate that the new bike will be more comfortable to ride as per the segment standards.
Harley Davidson will be featuring their Revolution Max motor in this upcoming model of which the exact details are still not revealed. Feature-wise also, the new model seems to be using bigger tyres with a thin profile as spotted in the teaser video. One more interesting thing to spot is the 2-1 exhaust which means that this Sportster model might also feature the end-can design of the exhaust similar to the Street 750 bike. The single-seat design is another point to be noted in the teaser video.

Although, we are not very sure about the nomenclature of the name but last year Harley had registered a name 'Nightster' in their bid to revive the name. The new model might use the above name. Similar to this, other question hangs around that whether this new model will feature the same 1275cc Revolution Max engine which is already seen over the Sportster S and the Pan America or it'll feature a new 975cc, parallel-twin motor.
