India's leading two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp, has now finally launched the new Hero Glamour Xtec in India. The new Glamour Xtec is a more advanced and tech-savvy variant of the existing Hero Glamour 125 and it boasts of several segment-first features. The price of the new Hero Glamour Xtec starts in India at Rs 78,900, Ex-showroom Delhi, and in this article, we have shared with you all the details about this new motorcycle.
Hero Glamour Xtec - What's New?
The Hero Glamour Xtec gets a host of features, including some segment-first ones. For instance, it gets an all-LED headlamp with an H-shaped LED DRL. The Glamour Xtec also features a first-in-segment integrated USB charging port and it gets an all-digital instrument cluster that comes with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation along with Google map connectivity, etc. It even gets a gear position indicator, Eco mode, tachometer, real-time mileage indicator and a segment-first side-stand engine cut-off feature.
Hero Glamour Xtec - Engine Specifications
The new Hero Glamour Xtec is powered by the same BS6 engine that does its duty in the regular Glamour too. This means that it is powered by a BS6 compliant 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor churns out 10.73 PS of maximum power at 7500 RPM and 10.6 Nm of peak torque at 6000 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. For braking duties, it gets a drum brake at the rear and at the front, one can choose between a drum/disc unit. It gets an Integrated Braking System too.
Hero Glamour Xtec - Price and Rivals
The new Hero Glamour Xtec has been launched in India in two variants. The Drum brake variant has been priced at Rs 78,900 while the Disc brake variant has been priced at Rs 83,500.
