Ola Future Plans Revealed: New S2 Lineup, Sportsters, And More

Ola Electric's future product roadmap outlines a phased introduction of electric scooters. The S1 Sports, based on the S1 Gen 3 platform, is expected to be the quickest and longest-range model. Following this, the S2 City and S2 Sports, built on the next-generation S2 platform, will offer distinct characteristics: the City model prioritizing family-friendly features and storage, while the Sports variant emphasizes performance with an aggressive design. An S2 Tourer will also join the lineup, designed for long-distance travel with maximum range. These launches are slated for Q2 of FY26 and beyond.
Looking further ahead, the S3 series will include the S3 Grand Adventure, an ADV-styled maxi-scooter, and the S3 Grand Tourer, a road-focused model designed for extended journeys. These scooters will offer more power right off the bat and could include bigger battery packs for extended range, probably facilitating intercity runs with fast charging capabilities for quick juice-ups.

While Ola will be starting with its Roadster series deliveries as they are already behind schedule, there are new bikes in the pipeline for next year, namely Arrowhead, Diamondhead, Cruiser, and Adventure, making the Ola e-bike portfolio one of the most comprehensive by next year. If things go as planned, it could establish Ola as the leading e-motorcycle player in the segment. Not to mention that the Bajaj Chetak is already giving tough competition to Ola scooters in terms of overall sales.
The announcement of these models is expected at the Independence Day 2026 event, where the brand, as a ritual, announces new models and other details.
Verdict
The plans of Ola electric seems ambitious, considering all the controversies that surrounded the automaker. Although as per the brand, they are tackling the issues at the core, it is the deliveries of Roadster series that is running behind schedule and will be done away with first. As for the upcoming models, it sure looks promising, and in fact, could enforce the brands position even more firmly in the market.
