As per the latest reports on the internet, Honda Cars India Limited is all set to discontinue fourth-gen City, Jazz as well as WR-V. The Japanese carmaker will be first pulling the plug with Jazz followed by fourth-gen City and then finally, WR-V in March 2023.

Honda Jazz grabs the lowest sales in terms of premium hatchbacks in the country. It rivals with Maruti Baleno, Hyundai i20, Toyota Glanza and Tata Altroz. Powered by a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol motor, it churns out 89 bhp of power with a peak torque of 110 Nm. It gets mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and an optional CVT unit.
Coming to Honda City 4th Gen then it was one of the best-selling sedans until the new iteration, 5th gen arrived. Honda continued to sell the older City sans diesel motor and also rejigged the variants line-up. Currently, this version of the City is sold in 1.5L petrol and is offered with two variants - SV and V only.
Honda WR-V which is the only crossover in the company's line-up is made available in both petrol as well as a diesel engine option. It garners a fair amount of sales in the Indian market and the carmaker will discontinue it in March 2023.

After discontinuing the specific models, the carmaker will be left with two cars only - Amaze and 5th Gen City. Reports also suggest that there's a new SUV around the corner from Honda which is expected to arrive by mid-2023. Once launched, the SUV will target the buyers of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushaq, VW Taigun and Toyota Hyryder.
