As announced by the company CEO over social media; Ola is opening the booking window for its e-scooter. After a long wait, the booking window will open again taking the new orders. Mind you, the Ola S1 e-scooter is in a humongous demand among the new e-scooter buyers.
Going by the official announcement, the booking window is due to open on the upcoming May 21. Also, for the prospective buyers looking for test rides, the test rides commence today. One can visit their nearest dealership and take a thorough test ride of the Ola S1 Pro e-scooter. Adding to this information, the company also announced that primary deliveries will be due for the already waiting buyers. Ola is focusing to clear its backlog that keeps increasing due to the shortage of semiconductors.
Speaking of the S1 Pro, it is equipped with a 3.97 kWh battery pack that helps the scooter to complete a certified 181 km of riding range. Also, the power-packed electric motor helps the scooter to do 0-40 kmph in 3 seconds. Also, the scooter can touch a top speed of 115 kmph as claimed by Ola.

Recently there have been some fire-related incidents that included various e-scooters. Ola was also a part of those accidents. To sort the problem, the company has already called a specific batch of scooters to identify & rectify the problem. According to Ola, the company aims toward safe green mobility, and such issues will not surface ever again as promised.
The Ola S1 Pro e-scooter is sold at a starting price of Rs 1,29,999 while the booking amount stands at a refundable Rs 500. Currently, the rivals such as the Ather 450X, TVS iQube, and Bajaj Chetak are working on their newest iterations. TVS already launched its 2022 iQube electric scooter in India yesterday.
