The Jeep Compass price will now start from Rs. 17.79 lakh and the Sports DCT variant gets the most expensive hike at Rs. 58,000.
The Jeep Compass is the latest SUV that gets a price hike. The Jeep Compass recently went through a mid-cycle update, along with a price hike as well. Now, Jeep has given the Compass another price hike as well. All Compass models get a standard price hike of Rs. 50,000, but the Sport DCT variant gets the maximum bump at Rs 58,000.

The last facelift gave the Compass a refined and much more premium interior. Some of the standout features in the new Jeep Compass include a 10.1 infotainment touch screen system that supports both Apple Car Play and Android Auto, Dual-Zone Climate control, Ventilated Front Seats, A Panoramic Sunroof, a wireless phone charger, powered tailgate, 360-degree camera, and an Alpine sound system. Safety also gets prime importance in the form of six airbags, ABS with EBD, parking sensors, and electronic stability control.

Mechanically, the Jeep Compass gets the benefit of both Petrol and Diesel engine options. The 1.4-litre turbo petrol unit produces 163 Ps and 250 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed transmission/ 7-Speed DCT. The 2.0-litre Diesel unit produces 170 Ps and 350 Nm of torque. The diesel engine comes mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or 9-speed automatic transmission.
Jeep has not cited any specific reason behind the price hike. In this range, the Compass rivals the likes of the Tata Harrier, Hyundai Tucson, Citroen C5 Aircross, and the recently launched Volkswagen Taigun.
