One of the latest entrant to the compact SUV segment is the Kiger from Renault and just now its official list of accessories are out. Priced at Rs 5.45 lakh, the Kiger is the most affordable compact SUV in the segment which also targets the likes of the premium hatchbacks at this price.

Renault is offering five accessory packages on the Kiger and those are - Smart, Smart+, SUV, Attractive and Essential pack. Sharing details on the Smart pack then you get the optional front parking sensors, 3D floor mat, trunk light, armrest console organiser. The Smart+ get equipped with all the features from the Smart and additionally comes with wireless charging, air purifier, puddle lamp and ambient lighting.

The Attractive pack is more of a style upgrade and for those who like chrome treatment on their SUV. It includes chrome garnish on the front grille, front bumper, ORVM, DRL, C-Pillar, window frame and tailgate. The subtle SUV pack improves the design aesthetics and offers front skid plates, side body cladding, rear trunk cladding and door scuttles.
The Essential pack covers the utility items which are always necessary for the SUV. This include carpet mat, car cover, mud flap and bumper corner protector. All these accessories can be availed from the dealer level and if you wish to have nothing then that is also possible.

Renault Kiger shares the same CMFA+ platform as the Nissan Magnite and gets two engine options - a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a more powerful 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol unit. The NA churns out 72 PS of power with a peak torque of 96 Nm and the turbocharged generates 100 PS of power with 160 Nm (152 Nm with CVT) of torque.
The price of the Kiger starts from Rs 5.45 lakh and the top-model fetches till Rs 9.45 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. It competes with Kia Sonet, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Mahindra XUV300, Ford Ecosport and Tata Nexon.
