The newly launched Skoda Kushaq is one of the most talked-about cars in the brand's line-up right now. To ensure aggressive pricing, the brand did skip on a few safety features in the range-topping Style 1.5 Automatic variant. However, as per the latest tweet made via the official Twitter handle, the brand has now confirmed that the updated Skoda Kushaq 1.5 Style AT will soon be launched. This model will not only feature six airbags but in addition to this, will also boast a number of other upgrades in the features list. Here are all the details about the upcoming Kushaq 1.5 Style AT model.
There are three trim options on offer with the Kushaq - Active, Ambition, and Style. While the Kushaq manual comes loaded with a long list of features and also offers features like six airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system. However, these features are missing from the automatic variant. The brand has however confirmed the launch of the updated Kushaq AT. The updated features list will not offer additional four airbags, tyre pressure monitoring and a few other enhancements. The price of the car too is expected to go up by a fair margin.

Apart from this, this variant will continue to offer other safety features like traction control system, antilock braking system, auto headlamps, auto wipers, multi-collision braking system, hill start assist, and rear parking sensors. The Skoda Kushaq also boasts supreme build quality and comes with a long list of standard features. The car directly competes with rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Sonet, VW Taigun, and other mid-size SUVs. The updated model is expected to be launched in November 2021. The Style AT variant however will continue to feature the same 1.5-L TSi engine that churns out maximum power and torque output of 150hp and 250Nm respectively. A 7-speed DSG gearbox comes mated to this engine. Those opting for the lower variants of the car will be offered a smaller engine option. This 1.0-L TSi engine delivers 115hp and 178Nm.
Skoda is also preparing to launch a new mid-size sedan that will replace the Rapid in its portfolio. The car, just like the Kushaq, will be underpinned by the MQB-A0-IN platform. A number of other cars including the Kodiaq facelift too are expected to be introduced in the coming years. The same platform also underpins many new offerings in the VW's line-up in India.
