KTM recently launched the KTM 390 Adventure in India. The KTM 390 Adventure is the first touring-oriented motorcycle from the Austrian manufacturer in the country. The 390 Adventure made its first public debut at the EICMA 2019 held in Milan, Italy. Just a month later, it was showcased at the India Bike Week in Goa. Then, it was finally launched in the Indian market in January 2020. The KTM 390 Adventure was launched at Rs. 2.99 lakhs, Ex-showroom. Though it was launched at a very attractive price, it was still not very accessible to the masses. So, the company has now introduced New Special Finance Schemes for the KTM 390 Adventure.
KTM India has introduced new special finance schemes and exchange offers to make the 390 Adventure more accessible for the buyers. According to the new schemes, one can now purchase the bike very easily as EMIs start at just Rs. 6,999 per month. Moreover, the finance plan has up to 80 per cent coverage of the on-the-road (OTR) price of the motorcycle along with five years of ownership. KTM has partnered with financial companies like Bajaj Finance Limited and HDFC Bank to bring this special finance schemes and in turn, boost the sales of the motorcycle.
The customers can avail finance schemes from various other companies too which offer up to 95 per cent financial coverage, lower interest rates and flexible repayment tenures. In addition to this, KTM has also introduced various exchange schemes and offers. The interested customers can exchange their old motorcycles and bring home a brand new KTM 390 Adventure. The motorcycle-touring enthusiasts and the prospective KTM 390 Adventure buyers would be really happy with these new finance schemes. This exchange facility will be provided at all 460 KTM Dealerships located across the country.

While KTM 390 Adventure has seen a high purchase intent, one of the opportunities we see in accelerating ownership is to make the model more accessible to the enthusiasts. The finance schemes created with partners like Bajaj Finance Ltd and HDFC Bank are expected to address this opportunity and inspire a lot of customers to upgrade.
The KTM 390 Adventure is a very capable motorcycle. It is powered by a BS6-compliant 373.2cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, DOHC, 4-valve, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor churns out 43.5 PS of power at 9000 RPM and 37 Nm of torque at 7000 RPM. The engine comes coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The 390 Adventure gets a ton of features which include Cornering ABS, slipper clutch, bi-directional quickshifter, Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC), a 5.0-inch TFT instrument cluster, etc. Currently, it is priced at Rs. 3.05 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi and rivals against the BMW G310 GS and Royal Enfield Himalayan.
