In order to comply with the upcoming BS-6 phase 2 requirements, Suzuki Motorcycle has updated its premium scooter lineup with an OBD-2 compliant engine. The new OBD2-A and E20 compliant engines come equipped on the Access 125, Avenis, and Burgman Street scooters. These scooters are now capable of running on petrol with up to 20% ethanol blend. Along with updating the engines to comply with upcoming norms, the brand has also introduced new colours for the Avenis & Burgman Street scooters.

Suzuki Scooter Lineup
With the release of the Access 125, Avenis, and Burgman Street series of E20 fuel-compliant scooters, the brand has advanced its efforts towards environmentally friendly mobility solutions. The most recent On-Board Diagnostics System, or OBD2-A, aids in the detection of system failures and also flashes the console lights to alert the rider in case of any faults in the vehicle system. In addition, Suzuki Motorcycle India displayed its functional Gixxer 250 flex fuel prototype at events hosted by the Indian government, such as the Auto Expo.
Also, the company has announced that Suzuki Burgman Street will be available in Pearl Matte Shadow Green in addition to Metallic Sonic Silver and Metallic Triton Blue for the Avenis.
