With the rising competition from 2022 Maruti Baleno and Hyundai i20, Tata Motors does not want to be left behind with their premium hatchback, Altroz. The Altroz is the safest premium hatchback in the segment that scored a Global NCAP rating of 5 stars. Now, after a gap of two years, Tata has decided to step up its game and will be launching the Altroz automatic in March and the top-spec variants will be equipped with a larger touchscreen infotainment system and among other features. The deliveries for the same too will commence shortly after.
The dual-clutch automatic transmission will be paired to the 1.2-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol motor that produces 85 bhp of power on tap with a peak torque of 113 Nm. The ARAI certified mileage for the 5-speed stick shift is 19.05 kmpl and we're hoping that the Altroz DCA will be fuel-efficient too. The carmaker claims that this dual-clutch automatic transmission is an absolute delight to drive in all Indian road conditions.
