Tata Harrier Gets An Air Purifier As Standard In Regular Variants - Details

Tata Motors has always been adding new features to their vehicles, and this time they've included an air purifier in the regular variants of the Harrier SUV. Tata Motors formerly included an air purifier in the special Kaziranga edition of the Harrier SUV, but it is now standard across the regular variant line-up. Now, starting with the XT edition of the car, you can get an air purifier. The Harrier Kaziranga edition received no mechanical modifications aside from the feature list and visual changes.

Tata Harrier Kaziranga Edition was launched in February for Rs 20.40 lakh (ex-showroom). The Grassland Beige colour scheme has been applied to the Tata Kaziranga Edition. With this hue, the black alloy wheels, badge, and dechromed parts look great. The Kaziranga Edition SUV's interior features a black dashboard with contrasting beige touches on the seats and door pads.

Mechanically, the special edition is powered by the same 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine, which delivers 170 bhp power and 350 Nm of torque. This motor can be combined with either a six-speed manual transmission or a torque converter automatic transmission. Tata Harrier comes with a price tag of Rs 14.52 lakh to Rs 21.81 lakh (ex-showroom).

In other Tata Motors news, the company has introduced the DCA (Dual-Clutch Automatic) trim of its premium hatchback, the Tata Altroz, to the market. The Tata Altroz DCA has a starting price of Rs 8.09 lakh (ex-showroom), with the top-spec model costing Rs 9.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The Altroz DCA is available with the same 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine as before. This engine is paired to a 6-speed dual-clutchclutch automatic transmission with a  wet-clutch system with advanced cooling systems is installed in the gearbox. Shift-by-wire technology guarantees that gearshifts are smooth and quick.
