Just recently, Tata Motors brought in Kaziranga editions of Punch, Nexon, Harrier and Safari. Upon its launch, this special edition catered to two new features in the Harrier and those were ventilated seats for the driver and co-driver along with iRA connected car technology. Now, Tata Motors has silently upgraded the top of the line XZ+ and XZA+ variants with these features.

The XZ+ variant of Tata Harrier is priced at Rs 19.74 lakh whereas XZA+ gets a sticker price of Rs 21.04 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. Both these variants are now equipped with features like ventilated driver and co-driver seats along with iRA connected car technology. These features were available with the Harrier Kaziranga edition only.
Powering the Harrier is a 2.0-litre, FCA sourced, four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine. This motor pumps out 168 bhp of power on tap with a maximum torque of 350 Nm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard and also gets an optional 6-speed torque converter unit. The ARAI certified mileage of Harrier MT sticks to 16.35 kmpl while the AT delivers 14.63 kmpl.

Other features on this XZ+ and XZA+ include a huge panoramic sunroof, powered driver seat with adjustable lumbar support, auto headlights and IRVM, cruise control, power-folding outside rearview mirrors, push-button start/stop, rake and reach adjustable steering wheel, air purifier, 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and among others.
