Tata Motors has expanded its already extensive lineup of Nexon models by introducing five new variants featuring the six-speed AMT transmission. Tata Nexon Welcomes Five New Variants
The Tata Nexon price starts at Rs 10.00 Lakh and goes up to Rs 14.80 Lakh (Ex-showroom), excluding the dark edition. Tata has introduced three new variants in the Petrol AMT lineup: Smart Plus, Pure, and Pure s. Additionally, two fresh variants have been added to the diesel AMT lineup: Pure and Pure s.
These new variants are among the more affordable options in the six-speed AMT transmission range. No existing trims have been removed, and everything else remains unchanged, including cosmetics, interior, and features.

Any Powertrain Adjustments For Tata Nexon?
The Nexon remains unchanged under the hood, keeping its engine intact. It offers both petrol and diesel engine choices. The petrol option is a 1.2-litre turbo engine, delivering 118 bhp and 170 Nm of torque. You can pick from a variety of transmissions: 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed AMT, or the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
On the other hand, the diesel variant boasts a 1.5-litre engine with 113 bhp and 260 Nm of torque. It's available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT.
Tata Nexon's CNG Model In Development: Test Mule Spotted
Tata Motors is expanding its fuel options with the upcoming Nexon CNG model, alongside its existing petrol, diesel, and EV models. The upcoming Nexon CNG will feature a 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine, a first for CNG cars in India, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Spy shots show it resembling its ICE counterparts but will house a CNG Powertrain. Inside, it retains the same tech features but adds a CNG kit. There's also speculation about the inclusion of an AMT gearbox, akin to the Tata Tiago EV and Tigor EV.
