Triumph has officially opened bookings for the Daytona 660 in India. If you're interested in this model, you can reserve it with a token amount of Rs 25,000. Built on a tubular steel perimeter frame, the Daytona 660 features a 660 cc engine and is expected to be priced between Rs 9 lakh and Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). Triumph Daytona 660: Shared Platform

The Triumph Daytona 675, initially launched in 2014 with a price of Rs 10.15 lakh, was discontinued in 2018. Now, it's making a return as the Triumph Daytona 660, sharing the platform with the Tiger Sport 660, priced at Rs 9.45 lakh, and the Trident 660, priced at Rs 8.12 lakh. On the official Triumph website, the new model is already listed, with the price set to be revealed on launch day. The anticipated launch of the Daytona 660 is expected within the first week of July.

Triumph Daytona 660: Engine And Hardware

This bike features a liquid-cooled, inline three-cylinder, 12-valve DOHC engine with a 240-degree firing order. It generates 95 PS at 11,250 RPM and 69 Nm of torque at 11,250 RPM. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and a wet multi-plate clutch for smooth shifting.

At the front, the bike features Showa 41mm upside-down Separate Function Forks - Big Piston (SFF-BP), while the rear is equipped with a Showa mono-shock RSU, which allows for preload adjustment. For braking, the front has twin 310mm floating discs, and the rear has a single 220mm fixed disc, both of which come with ABS for added safety.
