TVS Motor Company has already updated the Apache RTR 160, 200 and RR 310 to meet BS6 emission norms and today, they also announced the pricing of the RTR 180 BS6 which has been priced at Rs 1.01 lakhs. It is Rs 6700 more expensive than the ongoing model.
TVS Apache RTR 180 comprises the old RTR 160 styling and employes a 177.4 cc single-cylinder two-valve oil-cooled engine which, in BS6 state, produces 16.6 hp at 8500rpm and 15.5 Nm of torque at 6500rpm. The power figures remain more or less the same we get in the ongoing model. Shockingly, TVS managed to increase the power figures in the RTR 160 with BS6 update but that isn't the case in the Apache 180 BS6.

It will be quite a task to differentiate the ongoing model with the updated BS6 model as we don't expect any major design and mechanical changes in the motorcycle. TVS might add some new matte colours for the BS6 model to make it more appealing. TVS Apache RTR 180 BS6 will continue to get semi-digital instrument cluster, LED DRLs in the main headlight, rear LED brake light, tank extenders, petal disc brakes of 270mm at the front and 200mm at the rear with single-channel ABS. More include a double-cradle frame, telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear.
