Upcoming Nissan Magnite Facelift: Lone Wolf's Prep To Evolve, But...
Nissan Magnite continues with its decent sales performance which has kept Nissan operational in the country. However, it has been around for quite sometime now and its facelift is in the works, spotted on multiple occasions already. Now, the test mule has been spied on yet again, revealing key updates on what is coming your way.
With the multiple spotting combine with this recent one, it is now confirmed that there going to be only cosmetic updates to the exteriors without any beating to the sheet metal. You can expect a revised bumper, a tweaked front grille along with updated LED headlamps with repositioned LED DRLs. The alloy wheels are getting new cut and finish whereas the profile will largely remain similar.
The interiors are expected to retain the majority of the elements albeit with some tweaks to the dashboard and the probable inclusion of a few new features. Expect some new trim options too, but that's about it. It is going for a minor update inside with a few tweaks necessary to make it up to the competition.
Engine Details: Churning Out The Same Horsepower
The Magnite will retain its current 1.0-liter petrol engines: the standard version delivers 72hp and 96Nm of torque, while the turbocharged variant boosts output to 100hp and 160Nm of torque. Additionally, the 5-speed manual and AMT gearboxes will remain unchanged.
The launch is expected to take place in early 2025 where it will continue to rub shoulders with the likes of Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, and others.
Meanwhile, we took the Nissan Magnite for a real-world test in this in-depth review that you must check out for all your answers.
Verdict
The Magnite facelift will not be any radical update but a relatively subtle one. But there is nothing wrong in it. It makes sense as it is a package that is being accepted by new buyers. The diffentiating factor of being the most affordable SUV is going to remain intact, further propelling its sales chart to an upward incline.
