1 - Triumph-Bajaj Scrambler (Rs 2.5-3 Lakh)
The most anticipated bike from Bajaj is the Triumph Scrambler. Bajaj & Triumph had a joint venture and the first product of this JV is going to be this. Spied on-road testing only a handful of times, the upcoming Scrambler will be a performance roadster bike. Additionally, Bajaj will introduce it with multiple variants focused on touring, city riding, etc. Meanwhile, the engine capacity of it is expected in between 350-400cc. A single-cylinder engine will be used that is suspected to make power in the likes of 35-40 bhp. We are expecting that Bajaj will debut the Scrambler sometime later in 2023 with a price tag of Rs 2.5-3 lakh. Upon its launch, it will rival Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 & KTM Duke 390.
2 - Pulsar P125 (Rs 1 Lakh)
In 2022, Bajaj revised its Pulsar brand in almost every possible category. Starting with the N160, later came the P150 which made its debut in late 2022. Bajaj Pulsar brand is one of the oldest in the country & it seems that Bajaj is eyeing to revive it completely in 2023. Hence, speculations & our industry friends tell us that Bajaj will launch a smaller P125 in 2023. It will mostly look like the P150 but with a smaller engine. The purpose of P125 will be affordability with style. We expect that it will debut by May'23 in India with a price tag of Rs 1 lakh (expected). If you've not seen our detailed review of the Pulsar P150, do watch it below.
3 - Avenger 250 (Rs 1.5 Lakh)
Bajaj Avenger 220 became one of the most successful small-capacity cruisers in India. All thanks to its low-slung design that mimics the heavy cruisers with an economical yet punch-packed engine. But now the Avenger brand is getting old and Bajaj understands it completely. While the market trend is shifting to ADVs & scramblers, Avenger still holds a strong position. Additionally, the availability of a refined and bigger 250cc engine from the Pulsar N250 makes a strong case itself. Hence, Bajaj might fit the 250cc unit on the Avenger soon and debut it with a refreshed design. However, no firm comments can be made on it as the company has not said a single word about it. If launched in 2023, the Avenger 250 will have a price tag of Rs 1.5 lakh (expected).
4 - Pulsar N200 (Rs 1.4 Lakh)
Catering to the success of the Pulsar N250 & N160, Bajaj is expected to introduce a new 'N' variant. The new Pulsar N200 is said to be under work. The 'N' platform of the new-gen Pulsar is more premium-looking and feature-packed. Hence, Bajaj does not want to let go of any opportunity through any segment. Speaking of the N200, it is expected to use the 200cc engine from the NS200 but with a re-tuned ECU & different mechanicals. Bajaj shall introduce the new N200 sometime in the second half of 2023 with a price tag of Rs 1.4 lakh (expected).
Verdict
Bajaj has come a long way with its products & technology. The new-gen bikes like the Platina 110 ABS, Pulsar P150, etc., are a testament to it. However, 2023 will take the premium game for Bajaj one step ahead. Numerous bikes are aligned to launch; Bajaj surely has an exciting year ahead of it.
