Bajaj CNG Bike To Be Named Bruzer?
While Bajaj filed the name patent long ago, the registered status has now approved the Bruzer name. However, there is no evidence or words from the officials regarding the CNG model getting this name. But, the online rumours suggest that it'll be called by the name of Bruzer. Moreover, the latest spotting of the test bike in Pune hints that the launch is nearing.
Mr Rajiv Bajaj himself has told the media that the bike will launch before mid-2024. Recently, Mr Rakesh Sharma, ED, Bajaj Auto Ltd., also confirmed during a media interaction that it'll launch in May. It'll be a revolutionary product as there is no CNG bike on sale in India. While customers are running after EVs to save fuel costs, the CNG bike will be offered at a much lower price than the EVs and it'll be far more user-friendly as well.
If we believe what the rumours suggest, the CNG bike will use a 125cc engine. Again, there is no evidence to it but it'll rival the 100-110cc petrol bikes. The spotted bike shows that the design will be different from the regular Bajaj bikes like the Platina. It'll also get equipment like a disc brake at the front, alloy wheels, an LED headlight, and probably a semi-digital instrument cluster.
With its launch scheduled in May, the upcoming CNG bike will be positioned in a price bracket of Rs 80,000 to Rs 90,000; as per our expectations.
