Bajaj CNG Bike To Get Two Variants?
Undoubtedly, the CNG bike by Bajaj is the most-awaited two-wheeler launch of 2024. The scheduled launch of it is on June 18 and Bajaj can possibly name it 'Bruzer'. The latest spy shots leaked online showcase two variants testing together. While one version is more city-centric, the other variant hints at a 'rugged version'. The overall design of both models is identical majorly.
The CNG model test bikes have been spotted repeatedly and give us a better idea of what to expect. Bajaj will likely use a 125cc engine to power this bi-fuel motor. The large tank hides underneath a big CNG tank and a small petrol tank combo. The overall riding position is relaxed and city-friendly.
To make the most of it, two variants will be launched together. The city-centric variant seen here has a round headlight with a taller flyscreen, a single seat, and road-oriented tyres. The rugged version gets knuckle guards, sump guards, and block-pattern tyres; hinting that it'll be aimed towards tier-3 and rural markets.
Both test bikes are seen with similar hardware. A telescopic front suspension, dual shockers at the rear, alloy wheels, LED headlight, and black engine parts. Both bikes also get a front disc and rear drum brake. Thus, the possibility of a single-channel ABS can not be ruled out as well. The talking point remains its powertrain, of which no details are known till now.
Bajaj will target the 100-125cc petrol bike segment with this CNG bike. Hence, the pricing will remain aggressive. We assume that it will be positioned between Rs 80,000-90,000 (introductory).
