Bajaj-Triumph Bike Design Details
Meanwhile, looking at the spy pics give us a better idea of the design outlook of this bike. It will be a neo-retro bike that is for sure. The overall compact design has been treated with a retro-modern design approach. This is testified via the use of a round headlight, round bar end mirrors, and the short tail of the bike.
Additionally, the raised tubular handlebar and the rectangular digital instrument panel provide us with a modern design approach. However, the rear end of the bike is more compact when compared to the front profile. The overall design mimics the Triumph Bonneville bikes.
One can easily notice that the test bike has been equipped with a long list of modern tech. The indicators are LED, it has alloy wheels (17-inch front & 19-inch rear), and it also comes with an upswept exhaust pipe. The short exhaust hints towards middle-weight displacement for better agility. We also suspect that it will come with features as such ride-by-wire, dual-channel ABS, riding modes, Bluetooth connectivity, etc.
Engine & Specification Details
When we talk about the middleweight segment of bikes in India, it is owned by Royal Enfield completely. The segment of bikes that include the 305-500cc range is owned more than 85 percent by Royal Enfield. In fact, the Royal Enfield hunter 350 was launched two days back; enlarging the segment share.
Bajaj Dominar on the other hand came out to be a major disappointment for the company. However, the engineering ethics and the attempt to take on the segment were commendable by Bajaj Dominar. Ironically, it could not do much better. Hence, this upcoming bike is deemed to fulfill its desires of segment hold.
Meanwhile, the test bike used a single-piece exhaust unit indicating to us that an engine is a single-cylinder unit. It is also going to be liquid-cooled as seen in the spy photos. Bajaj will be using top-class material construction to provide a good-performing engine. Bajaj plans to sell this bike globally as well, hence, good quality construction is also expected.

India Launch, Price, & Rivals
The test bike already seems to be production ready. In fact, the fuel tank and body panels have been painted in promotional colours as well. Hence, we suspect that the debut is nearing. However, it won't be any time before 2023 that Bajaj launches it in India.
We anticipate that the pricing will go above Rs 2 lakh. As the pricing will play the main role in its sales, Bajaj will surely price it aggressively to beat the rivals. Upon its launch, the rivals are expected to be the Royal Enfield Hunter, Yamaha FZ 25, Suzuki Gixxer 250, TVS Ronin 225, & the Honda CB350 RS.
