Maruti eVitara

After a successful debut at the Auto Expo 2025, the Maruti eVitara is all set to get its official pricing in March 2025. Built upon the HEARTECT-e platform, this highly anticipated model will offer consumers a choice of two LFP battery packs of 49 kWh and 61 kWh. While both configurations deliver 192.5 Nm of torque, the power output differs, with the smaller battery producing 143 hp and the larger 173 hp. Maruti Suzuki projects a 500-kilometer range, as measured by MIDC standards, for the 61 kWh variant. The e-Vitara will feature a suite of modern technologies, including a 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, and a contemporary cabin with integrated dual screens. With an expected starting price of around 20 lakh rupees ex-showroom, the e-Vitara is set to compete against the Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE 6, MG ZS EV, and Tata Curvv EV.
Tata Harrier EV

Tata Motors has been steadily building anticipation for the Tata Harrier EV, with near-production prototypes displayed at recent auto shows and test vehicles spotted without camouflage. The electric variant maintains the familiar silhouette of its internal combustion engine counterpart, yet incorporates distinct styling cues to signify its electric powertrain. While specific powertrain details are still forthcoming, Tata has confirmed the Harrier EV will utilize a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive configuration, generating 500 Newton-meters of torque. The company is targeting a 500-kilometer range, coupled with the promise of capable off-road performance, positioning the vehicle as a versatile and robust electric SUV.
Kia EV6 Facelift

Kia is set to give its EV6 a refresh, and it is expected it to land here in India around early March. This time around it gets a tweaked look with new headlights, different wheels, and then a few more updates. Inside, they've gone for a new steering wheel and cleaned up the center console, making a more appealing experience than before. The notable upgrade this time has to be a bigger battery of 84 kWh battery pack, promising a range exceeding 650 kilometers. Now, remember, this is still an imported car, so it's going to stay in that premium price bracket.
MG Cyberster

The MG Cyberster presents a striking profile, characterized by a highly aerodynamic design and a distinctly sporty stance. This electric two-door roadster makes a bold statement with its electrically operated scissor doors and sharp LED headlamps. The vehicle's sleek lines and aerodynamic form continue along its side profile, complemented by 20-inch alloy wheels. Powering the Cyberster is a 77kWh battery pack, delivering a robust 510 PS of power and 725 Nm of torque with an expected claimed range of close to 580km on a single charge. It could cost somewhere around Rs. 75 lakhs ex-showroom.

Mercedes Benz SL680
Mercedes-Maybach is set to introduce a new bespoke luxury and dynamic performance addition to the Indian market with the forthcoming Mercedes SL 680. This roadster will arrive following its international debut last year. Distinguished by Maybach's signature dual-tone finish, a redesigned grille, and bespoke multi-spoke wheels, the SL 680 makes a striking visual statement.

Under the hood, a potent 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, delivering 585 hp power and 800 Nm of torque, ensures formidable performance, with power channeled to all four wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission. While the Indian market pricing remains undisclosed, it is anticipated that the SL 680 will command an ex-showroom price north of Rs. 2.5 crores ex-showroom.
Volvo XC90 Facelift

Volvo's flagship XC90 SUV is poised for a significant refresh with a refined exterior aesthetic. Notable changes include a redesigned grille with diagonal elements, sleeker headlamp clusters, revised front and rear bumpers, smoked taillights, and a selection of newly designed alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin receives a substantial upgrade with a larger 11.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, powered by Google and capable of over-the-air updates. Under the hood, the powertrain is anticipated to remain consistent with the current model, featuring a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol mild-hybrid engine. This unit delivers 250 horsepower and 360 Newton-meters of torque, distributed to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. The model was revealed last year and the prices are not yet out, but keeping the upgrades in mind, it could receive an uptick.
